Matt joined Baldwin Risk Partners in 2020 through a successful partnership with a top-75 US brokerage firm and was appointed as their Director of IT Enterprise Applications in 2021. Matt’s focus is on maintaining and innovating the way the firm’s sales and service colleagues do business via its technology application solution stack. He leads a team of administrators, projects managers, and analysts, and is responsible for the migration of partner firm applications and data.

Matt got his start in the insurance business when he joined Mason & Mason Technology Insurance Services, Inc. in 2012 after having spent 13 years in the banking industry in service and leadership roles. He was appointed as their Vice President of Operations where he led the organization through its digital transformation. His efforts helped the firm to double its revenue and improve on all other key performance measures ahead of Mason’s partnership with AHT and Baldwin Risk in 2020.

Matt has become recognized for his ability to bring technology, people, and process together in ways that enhance the colleague’s connection to their platforms. His leadership and his depth of experience in both insurance and technology have brought deep insight to the Baldwin team as they continue their journey to innovate the digital workplace and the insurance buying experience.

Matt graduated from the University of New Hampshire (magna cum laude) in 2005. He spends time in his local community volunteering as an executive board member and on-snow volunteer coach for the Eastern Slope Ski Club. Matt enjoys a variety of activities including at-home technology projects, mountain biking, as well as hiking and snowboarding with his wife and two children.
