Jon Maio

Jonathan joined BRP as a Senior Account Manager of the Northeast office and brings over 20+ years of insurance industry experience. Prior to joining BRP, Jonathan was the Assistant Vice President of a regional broker specializing in Management Liability lines of coverage (D&O/E&O/EPL/Fiduciary/Crime and Cyber Liability).

Prior to joining the brokerage side, Jonathan worked at two of the largest international carriers where he held positions of various underwriting and management roles & responsibilities, including the Regional Underwriting Manager for Financial Institutions.  His area of expertise focuses on mid-to large-cap publicly held corporations in various industry segments and is versed in handling complex transactions such as IPOs, SPACs, reverse mergers, foreign exchange-listed entities, and hard-to-place risks.  He holds the insurance designations of Management Liability Insurance Specialist and Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist.
